James studied art in Hereford, drawing early inspiration from the landscapes and natural beauty of the Wye Valley, where he specialised in intricate ink drawings. Following a successful career as a commercial photographer, he has returned to his lifelong passion for painting, developing a distinctive abstract style full of colour, movement and expression. His work has been exhibited in a number of acclaimed solo exhibitions, including The Courtyard in Hereford, Freud on Shaftesbury Avenue in London, and alongside works by Damien Hirst. Revelations brings together a carefully curated collection of original paintings, each one a unique statement piece bursting with colour and character.
